ASSESS Group are providers of independent medicolegal reports in Australia.
As part of their Australian team of Specialists, they also engage a cohort of NZ specialists who visit Australia monthly.
This 'fly in fly out' role consists of 3 - 5 days a month of your choosing and would suit an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon looking to diversify their clinical practice in NZ.  The purpose of this 'non-treating  'role' is to be provide independent, high quality Orthopaedic medicolegal reports in the Australian jurisdiction.

Registrar Orthopaedics - Te Whatu Ora Southern
Te Whatu Ora Southern have a vacancy for a Registrar - Orthopaedics at Southland Hospital.  The role is varied and includes trauma, hip, knee and shoulder joint replacement, elective and trauma paediatric surgery, hand surgery as well as general orthopaedic surgery. Orthopaedic Consultant - Whanganui
We are looking for an Orthopaedic surgeon to join our team of 5.  You will be supported by our 3 Orthopaedic Registrars, one being a Trainee Registrar on the NZ training programme.  Vocational registration with the Medical Council of NZ is essential.  You will have a strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary team working environment and interaction with colleagues from other specialties. 

This role will allow you to thrive professionally in providing your expertise to an urban population of approx. 70,000 people covering the Rangitikei, Whanganui and South Taranaki areas.

Research Registrar Positions - Waikato Hospital 
These two Research Registrar positions comprise 0.5 FTE clinical work as a non-Training Registrar with the remainder of the week protected for academic activity.

Posts may be of 6 or 12 months duration depending on an applicant's goals. Expressions of interest are welcome year-round with interviews generally undertaken in May of the preceding year.
