Ngā Rata Kōiwi - A New Logo

The New Ngā Rata Kōiwi Logo
Body

Ngā Rata Kōiwi are pleased to introduce their new logo designed by the rōpū (our group) & incorporating both traditional Māori & orthopaedic whakapapa.

We chose a Pōhutukawa tree (known for it's crooked trunk) because it is sacred in Māori legends and links life & death through the stories of Tāwhaki.

For the new logo the takakaha described above is linked to the Pōhutukawa
in the familiar orthopaedic Tree Of Andry style.
