In September NZOA President John McKie attended the South African & British Orthopaedic Association's ASM's. Here are some of his photos from that trip - first the Carousel came together again in Cape Town...

Inside the original wing of the Groote Schuur Hospital is The Heart of Cape Town Museum which opened on the 40th anniversary  of the first heart transplant to honor everyone who played a major role. The museum also focuses on the ethical and moral implications this scientific breakthrough raised at the time
