Loved and respected father of Jane, Simon and Andrew and father-in-law of Ross, Mia and Julie-Anne. Colin was the President of NZOA from 1984 – 1985 and wrote “Orthopaedics in New Zealand”.  This book traces the first ninety years of development in New Zealand of orthopaedic surgery – that branch of surgery dealing with diseases and injuries of bones, joints, muscles, nerves and skeletal soft tissues.  Until about eighty-six years ago much of this work was done at that time was performed by general surgeons.

I will be attending on behalf of NZOA and other members are invited to attend or send messages.
